Episode 15: Leah Puri
Leah Puri is a rising third year medical student at Stony Brook University. She completed her undergraduate degree at Fordham University. She then went on to pursue a degree in ethics prior to medical school.Leah's upbringing in Nigeria gives her a unique lens to the systemic racism African Americans have faced in America which we discuss at length. Outside of staying busy in school, she is poet, advocate and chef.
