Inside the mind of Beatles promoter Sid Bernstein

This week we meet the woman who was closest to the man who launched the Beatles’ global fame in the USA. Merle Frimark was a close friend and colleague of Sid Bernstein, who booked Fab Four for their legendary show at Shea Stadium in New York in 1965, which was the first concert to be staged in a stadium.
