Ep. 139: Why blocking people is good for social media growth with TikTok beauty analyst Lily Twelftree of Barefaced Media

This week’s guest is Lily Twelftree, a Junior Marketer and part-time graphic design student based in Sydney, Australia who has an amazing ability to analyse trends in beauty and then make them make sense to the rest of us. I can’t remember how I first found her account, Barefaced Media, but she was an instant follow, as her approach to analysis really appealed to my own inner nerd. Since we recorded this episode Lily has seen her best performing TikTok yet, amassing over 450,000 views so it definitely makes sense to have her on at such an early stage in her TikTok career. I wanted to find out what made her start her account, ask her about the most challenging aspects of social media and how content creation fits around her day job.  Thanks so much for listening - definitely go check out Lily's work on TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@barefacedmedia.
