Ep. 253: Behind the scenes of Rose Glass movie Love Lies Bleeding with the costume, hair and makeup heads and why it’s the next cult classic
This episode is dedicated to the movie Love Lies Bleeding - the second film from British director Rose Glass and I definitely think it's a future cult classic. The second I saw the trailer for this film, set in 1980s New Mexico, I knew I had to reach out to the heads of wardrobe, hair and makeup – that’s Olga Mill, Megan Daum and Frieda Valenzuela, respectively. In this episode each department head shares their prep and the challenges they faced when creating the characters, particularly gym manager Lou, played by Kristen Stewart and bodybuilder Jackie, played by Katy O'Brian.
