Ep. 50: We made it to episode 50! Fave episode recap and what's next
WOW, we made it to the 50th episode! Did I think we’d get here? Yes, I did, but I didn’t realise how much the podcast would evolve, and how that was due, in no small part to Covid and the whole world being on lockdown. Before we went into lockdown at the end of March here in the UK, I had about 20 episodes under my belt and was still trying to ensure consistency, but fast forward one month and it made sense to look for women around the world to share how lockdown was affecting them - and their beauty routines. In this minisode I share a few of my favourite moments with the likes of Joy Matashi, AKA @joydarlinginnit on Instagram, Jess Young, the creator of @boysinpolish and Clay Reid, Senior Makeup Artist for Nars in the UK and Ireland. Looking ahead, I’m going to do my best to get back to the face to face video episodes that I know some of you love – but this will always be an audio-led podcast. That being said, my next few episodes will be recorded via video phone calls because we’re back on these lockdown tiers, so if there’s anyone you’d like me to reach out to, let me know!
