Today on Teaching Thursdays we continue our study of 1st Peter. We look at the beginning of chapter 3, considering the first seven verses. This section of 1st Peter teaches how Jesus' example of suffering and serving is the template and example for a godly husband and a godly wife. We talk about the parameters of suffering in marriage, the depths and extent of a wife submitting to her husband, and the weight of responsibility placed on the husband to understand his wife in a loving way.
