The European Commission is ramping up its oversight of major tech firms. Google’s parent company Alphabet, META, Tiktok, and Apple are all in the Commission's crosshairs. But experts say that fines might not be enough to halt bad behaviour.As the mandate of many European regulators comes to an end, they are racing against time to leave a lasting mark.
