David Ball is a striker at the Wellington Phoenix and has played football at the highest levels in the UK, alongside players Robinho and Tevez. The English forward spent the first decade of his professional career in the UK, playing for Manchester City, Swindon Town, Peterborough United, Rochdale, Fleetwood Town, Rotherham United, and Bradford City, netting 83 goals across 373 matches. In 2015, Ball made history by scoring a FIFA Puskás nominated goal with a chip against Preston North End, becoming only the second Englishman nominated for this prestigious award, after Wayne Rooney!
