Blasphemy Against the Holy Spirit

Ron Wallace answers the question, "What is the blasphemy of the Holy Spirit?" Is there a sin that cannot be forgiven? In this episode Ron will show that there is indeed one sin that cannot be forgiven: it is the sin of unbelief. That is, the sin of rejecting Jesus as your Savior. The blasphemy against the Holy Spirit is the attitude and expression that rejects the Spirit's testimony that Jesus is the Messiah. When Jesus performed miracles such as healing and casting out demons, this was the ministry of the Holy Spirit bearing witness that Jesus was indeed the Messiah and Savior of the world. If a person denied that the Holy Spirit was working in and through Jesus, this was the same as denying that Jesus was the Messiah. Rejection of Jesus as the Messiah is the sin of unbelief. The sin of unbelief is the only sin for which Jesus could not die. It is a "forever sin" that results only in condemnation to the lake of fire.
