Apple TV Plus Review: Severance Deep Dive with Josh and Larhonda Sparrow
In this review I did a lot of things differently. First, we recorded in person. Second, we reviewed a show that concluded a few weeks ago, and finally, I recorded with some I.R.L. friends. People have been recommending that I watch Severance for some time and, though the show lost in the show tournaments I ran on Twitter, I decided to check it out while I was traveling. The show is very different from any show I could think of and the three of us had to take some time to think of shows to try to compare it to. It's a show that builds out its world slowly, and intentionally, and each episode leaves you asking more questions than the one before. Now normally, that would be a bad thing but this show makes it work by answering your previous questions when it does so. The cast is great, you will fall in love with at least one character and by the end of the series, you will be dying for the new season to drop.
