014: Q&A – How can I support my child if I do not speak the language(s) used by the school?
On this episode of Bilingual Avenue, I answer a listener’s question with some ideas to support language needs at home. Many parents with children in multilingual schools do not necessarily speak every language their child is learning. I encourage parents to focus on promoting literacy skills, increasing exposure and staying connected with the school staff.
