Can & Will Help Foundation

We can agree to disagree, but at the end of the day, working together is going to get us where we need to be. - Dr. Natalie Williams-McMahon, Can and Will Help Foundation www.canwillhelpfoundation.org Have you ever had a bad boss or biased colleagues? This week, we are joined by Dr. Natalie Williams-McMahon (4th and 5th grade, Language Arts, Math, Social Studies, Science Teacher, ESL / GED Adult Educator, Professional Leadership Coach). Natalie shares educational journey, from a student in her Chicago neighborhood (pre-gentrification) to the exchanges with administration that led her to becoming an educational nonprofit founder. From English as a Second Language and GED programs with adults to supporting students design math board games, Dr. Williams-McMahon utilizes creative leadership to engage her students and help them achieve their goals. Grouping, showing students work through various lenses, and integrating fun are on the agenda. Natalie is still very connected to her roots and her history - and is an advocate for her students, her neighborhood, and her journey. Tune in!
