The Rules Make It Fun
In this chapter of Bluey Bros, we discuss episode 1:5, Shadowlands. We discuss the play of Bluey and her friends as they try to overcome Coco's tendency to make the game easier in order to avoid failure. We touch upon issues like Vygotsky's "zone of proximal development," learned helplessness, fostering growth mindsets, and the role that rules play in helping make the challenges just right as an antidote to boredom.
