322: Stop Doing ALL THE THINGS In Your Boutique

Are you worried that you have to do ALL THE THINGS? I get it… but I also know it’s not working! Here are my top 3 tips for NOT doing all the things in your boutique business: 1. Pick one or two social media platforms you are AWESOME at, and get MORE awesome at them! The truth is, we all can’t be good at everything. A little over a year ago, I decided I would dominate on video. I started going on FB Live with a topic you needed to hear. After, I downloaded it and uploaded to YouTube. Guess what? My FB page has doubled in following, my group has grown by 2000 members organically and I have hours of video I can give people reference to when they ask about a particular topic. This year, I’m trying my hand at Instagram. I bought 2 courses about it so I can go deeper, and I’m getting consistently consistent. Get good at one or two and then add in a few months. 2. Delegate. Again, you can’t be good or do everything yourself. At a certain point you have to suck it up and hire people to help you! Make a running list of all the things you hate to do- that’s your first hire. 3. Have a plan for your business. Having no plan is planning to fail. Too many women jump into owning a boutique having no clue what their long or short term plan is. Write down what days you’ll accomplish what. What are your goals? Where do you want to be in 6 months, a year? You’ve got to have a plan Feel like you need a little more help with figuring out how not to do all the things in your boutique business?
