This week, Bravo and E! teamed up for Amplify Our Voices: An Open Dialogue on Being Black in America on Instagram Live. The conversation was hosted by E! Daily Pop’s Justin Sylvester and featured Porsha Williams, Gizelle Bryant, and Kandi Burruss discussing the current state of race relations, the protests going on across the world, and the Black Lives Matter movement. Porsha detailed what it is like being on the frontlines of peaceful protests in Atlanta and explained why now is the time to be “unapologetically Black,” Gizelle spoke about the impact of the younger generation and how she talks to her daughters about racism, and Kandi gave us an education on the importance of voting locally, and implored businesses to diversify their staff - starting at the top - and so much more.
