Lauren Fitzpatrick Shanks is an award-winning engineer with 15 years of experience in entrepreneurship, engineering, product creation, software program management, & operations. She’s the first Black woman to receive an Aerospace Engineering degree from the University of Kansas and the first Black woman to win the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA) international design competition. She’s a recipient of the Women in Technology Rising Star Award and has an MBA in Operations Management from the University of Scranton. Lauren founded KeepWOL, a technology company that uses games to unlock the understanding of human behavior, building stronger relationships in the workplace and beyond. She's a wife, a mother of two, and an avid conversationalist. Her top two values are authenticity and legacy.
