189. Unpacking the Controversy of AI-related Layoffs

In this episode, Traci discusses recent layoffs in HR and the perspective of HR thought leaders on the role of AI in these layoffs. Traci challenges the idea that layoffs are a result of companies investing in AI to drive growth, arguing that it absolves companies of responsibility and creates a competition between humans and AI, which isn’t reasonable.
