BSI EDUCATION PODCAST - Standards-making and careers

Episode 1. Successful standards draw on the widest range of expertise and opinion as possible. At BSI we want young professionals to get involved in standards, to bring their bright ideas and fresh perspectives to the world of standards-making to help shape the future of their sectors. In this episode we hear from two such young professionals - Navdeep Mehay, Group Leader at the UK Atomic Energy Authority and Kat Rosier, Electrical and Electronic Design Engineer at Veolia Nuclear Solutions - about how becoming standards-makers has had a positive and rewarding impact on their career development. Navdeep and Kat share their experiences of taking part in the IEC Young Professionals Programme – supported by BSI and its partners - as their first steps into the world of developing standards at national and international level. The BSI EDUCATION PODCAST is hosted by Matthew Chiles - Educational Development Manager at BSI and Alan Sellers - Senior Compliance and Approvals Manager at Dyson and Chair of BSI’s Young Professionals Advisory Panel.
