Bside incoming: Jkriv Hailing all the way from Brooklyn New York, JKriv is a DJ and producer, an excellent musician of many instruments and the co-founding guitarist of the band Escort, a major player of the esteemed Razor-N-Tape record label and of course a man in possession of an impressive vinyl collection. 'Make It Hot’, has been a long held favourite of the Bside Crew, a deep and groovy production with a pure disco energy that can get any party started. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CDjA7reiUYE But it doesn’t end there, JKriv has a huge array of disco edits, original tracks, and cutting edge releases on his Brooklyn based label - trend setting and boundary pushing in almost every facet of the industry. His tracks feature in the sets of some of the biggest names in the game, Derrick Carter, Louie Vega, Mark Farina, Greg Wilson and the late great Andrew Weatherall. He himself has been sharing his own collection and good vibes with dance floors the world over, and sharing line-ups with some equally impressive names. Om Podcasten

Bside podcasts DJ's showcase and speak a little about their favourite tracks from the B-side of their records. We endeavour to broadcast the best of the B-side: a bi-weekly invitation into the impressive record collections of some of our favourite selectors. An exploration into the the back-catalogues, the deepest depths, the darkest crevices of their collections. Returning with the spoils of this venture: their most cherished records and hidden gems, from the go-to club weapons to the rarely heard home-listening records, and everything in between. Music is for sharing. 'By the early sixties, the song on the A-side was the 'hit' song that the record company wanted radio stations to play. The B-side would contain less radio friendly and less popular tracks. In our eyes the B-side is a true reflection of the producers taste in music, there is more personality on that side of the record'.
