Bside Incoming: Partner Music This week we welcome the soothing sounds of Partner Music’s Bside selection. A reputation forged in the UK scene is beginning to launch Partner Music into the realm of global recognition, with dance floor tracks released on High Praise, RESPSIES, Top Pocket, and Cosmic Incantations. Oh, and this groovy number: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TNib8T9JYRE&fbclid=IwAR3V73mTxBfxtiqL6FtIilPjyDfCWUH8R7V5lI9XLZnZ6v3Ra1gq4OK9g94 The recent move from Brighton to London has proved a success, earning himself a slot at the revered Dimensions Festival, and some supporting acts in the calibre of Mount Kimbie, Dan Shake and San Proper. The Bside of his record collection takes us on a journey of dramatic and disco infused gems from yesteryear. A masterful collection which often pays tribute to his parents sublime taste; his father an avid disc jockey in the 70/80’s, “mullet and everything”. Partner Music explores this rich family history as he continues to build upon it, contributing to the narrative with many wonderful discoveries of his own. Having a lazy Sunday? Why not gently coax it into motion with the opening track ‘A Warm Summer Night’, Chic’s sultry b-side to the widely celebrated ‘Good Times’ - an overlooked treasure tucked away on the flip-side of this classic record. This episode is full of surprises, each one embracing our ears with open arms. The perfect partner for any activity, today, tomorrow… all week. Om Podcasten

Bside podcasts DJ's showcase and speak a little about their favourite tracks from the B-side of their records. We endeavour to broadcast the best of the B-side: a bi-weekly invitation into the impressive record collections of some of our favourite selectors. An exploration into the the back-catalogues, the deepest depths, the darkest crevices of their collections. Returning with the spoils of this venture: their most cherished records and hidden gems, from the go-to club weapons to the rarely heard home-listening records, and everything in between. Music is for sharing. 'By the early sixties, the song on the A-side was the 'hit' song that the record company wanted radio stations to play. The B-side would contain less radio friendly and less popular tracks. In our eyes the B-side is a true reflection of the producers taste in music, there is more personality on that side of the record'.
