Watch the show (and the previous 11)on facebook - www.facebook.com/BsidePodcasts/ Ep. 12 James Hurran & Timon Greaves (Oscillate) James and Timond are welcomed to the Edinburgh Bside headquaters and asked to show off their favorite records. As always, only tracks from the B-side were permitted. The duo behind Oscillate have been making quite a mark on the edinburgh scene recently with their bookings. Their guests so far involve.... Bradley Zero (Rhytm sections head honcho - offft) Artwork (You all know fine well this Legendary DJ/producer) ESA (South african lover of afrobeat) COEO (German producers with some loevy tracks that have been released on Toy Tonics, Razor N Tape, Madhouse Records, ect) Krywlad & Farrer (one of my favortie prodcuers just now, run the Percolate parties and the labels Repsies and Persies - worth checking out) We were excited to see if their own taste in music was up to the standard of their bookings. Expect jazzy house, soulful house, disco and some part chooons. Enjoy.

Om Podcasten

Bside podcasts DJ's showcase and speak a little about their favourite tracks from the B-side of their records. We endeavour to broadcast the best of the B-side: a bi-weekly invitation into the impressive record collections of some of our favourite selectors. An exploration into the the back-catalogues, the deepest depths, the darkest crevices of their collections. Returning with the spoils of this venture: their most cherished records and hidden gems, from the go-to club weapons to the rarely heard home-listening records, and everything in between. Music is for sharing. 'By the early sixties, the song on the A-side was the 'hit' song that the record company wanted radio stations to play. The B-side would contain less radio friendly and less popular tracks. In our eyes the B-side is a true reflection of the producers taste in music, there is more personality on that side of the record'.
