80. How I helped a remote team build new career pathways + Inclusive storytelling to build momentum in driving change

In August 2020, I was named finalist in the Women in Banking and Finance awards in the "Rising Star" category, to celebrate women leading by example across Australia's banking and finance industry for creating an impact on gender diversity across the sector. In this episode I share a story that illustrates one of my leadership philosophies, where I helped women build a career pathway towards roles that wouldn't otherwise be accessible for them.  This was well before COVID, where re-location was required if you wanted to progress your career. I also share my vision to drive more inclusion in storytelling and fostering more connection in the way we gather in a post COVID world. Om Podcasten

I started my career feeling like I needed to fit in, and now I shape my own career opportunities. Together with my guests, we share how we challenge the status quo in how we learn, connect with an aligned tribe who gets us, and shape our own jobs - and in many cases these are jobs that didn’t exist before. Get ready to be inspired to explore creative ways to learn, future-proof your talent stack and forge your own path in the future work in a way that brings out your zone of genius. Hosted by Yishan Chan.
