How a private housing fraud scheme cost the US Military $18.7 Million | Walkthrough Wednesday

Pennsylvania-based Balfour Beatty Communities, pleaded guilty to one count of defrauding the US Military.  For six years, they caused military families to suffer as they were forced to wait through lengthy and unnecessary delays of maintenance issues.  BBC employees were accused of closing work orders before maintenance had been completed. During the December 2021 ruling, the U.S District Court ordered Balfour Beatty to pay $65 Million in fines and restitution.  Listen to the full story on this week’s Walkthrough Wednesday
