Check out this new podcast coming the The Basic Moms Media Channel! Hey, I’m Claire - self proclaimed book nerd. And I’m Julie - a streaming addict. This is, But the Book Was Better. The truth is, we both love to read and binge watch all the things. In this podcast, we’ll be reading books, then watching their screen adaptations. We’ll cover some classics (like the Godfather) and some of the newer stuff everyone is talking about (like Where the Crawdads Sing.) Sometimes we’ll be talking about shows, sometimes movies - it all depends. Yea, let’s get wild! We’ll break down each book… why we chose it, what was changed in the screen adaptation, if the changes make sense and if they added or detract from the overall plot of the story. You get the idea! And ultimately, we’ll debate which was better. It’ll be the book, it’s always the book. Well, they’ll have to tune in to find out!
