BEING SENSITIVE WITH DR ALEX GEORGE

In this episode Clemmie talks to former Love Islander and A&E doctor Dr Alex George about why being sensitive is actually a super power! Who knew?! Since leaving the Love Island villa Dr Alex has become known for his honesty and insight around mental & physical health and wellbeing. He was appointed Youth Mental Health Ambassador by the Government in 2021 and created a Children in Need documentary ‘Our Young Mental Health Crisis’, which aimed to shed light on children’s mental health.  He has written one Sunday Times Best Selling book and has just released his debut children's book, 'A Better Day'. In a revealing episode Dr Alex discusses how his sensitivity has been an asset in his medical career and how his resilience was tested by the death of his younger brother. He also gives his take on the mental health challenges facing young people in the UK and offers some words of advice for parents. Buy Dr Alex's new book here and find him on Instagram @dralexgeorge.
