The Muppets Take Manhattan (1984)

In 1979 Kermit The Frog left the pond and headed for Hollywood. On the way he met a bear with a Studebaker, a weirdo with a bent nose, a pretty pig, and a dog that sand the blues, all while being hunted by the sinister owner of a frog legs restaurant chain. This debut Muppet feature filmed was called, appropriately, The Muppet Movie. In 1981 Kermit and Fozzie The Bear played news reporters who also happened to be brothers. Along with their photographer, Gonzo, they headed across the pond where they spoiled the attempted robbery of the Baseball Diamond. This gem, no pun intended, was The Great Muppet Caper. But today on Buzzn The Tower, we're heading to the city that never sleeps, the big apple, the city so nice they named it twice, as we put on makeup and dress up right and chat about a classic, The Muppets Take Manhattan.
