Amy is indomitable, and her miracle story really touched me, especially as I am doing my own deep work to excavate just who I am...(a life-long process really, if we're lucky!) Sometimes it's our ancestors who give us gifts, sometimes our ancestors give us lessons, and sometimes...they give us stories we need to unpack and heal. Amy shares just such a story in this episode, and it'll be sure to touch your heart! We also talk trauma, the lacquer that coats each of us thanks to the stories our culture and families and friends share with us (helpful or not!) and the size of the chisel we're going to need to chip that lacquer off! (Hint: it's pretty big).
