Our contentment in life comes from loving-union with Jesus, not more of the things he gives us. Often times we look to the blessing in front of us instead of the one who is everlasting and provides for us. When we guard our hearts against anything that attempts to take our eyes off of Jesus, we are able to find a satisfaction that goes beyond our possessions and circumstances.
