Achieving Success Without Sacrificing Your Mental Health

Hustle culture. “I’ll sleep when I’m dead.” The expectation to work all hours of the day now that we can access work from anywhere. These are just a few things that have contributed to declines in mental health in workers, whether you are employed or self-employed. It’s the expectation that you must constantly be doing more, working harder, and that incessant feeling that you aren’t doing enough. The source of these pressures can be both external and self-imposed (especially if you are high-achieving and ambitious), but the consequences are the same: neglecting your own basic self-care in favor of working harder to achieve or maintain success. This isn’t healthy and has to stop, and it’s what we will be exploring further in this episode.   In this episode, you will learn: Signs you are sacrificing your mental health for success How to redefine success in a way that prioritizes mental health 4 specific strategies to balance success and mental health   ++++++++ Calmly Coping is a self-improvement podcast for high achievers who struggle with high-functioning anxiety to help you feel more calm, balanced, and confident from within. ++++++++   WATCH THE FREE TRAINING: HOW TO CREATE WORK-LIFE BALANCE AND FEEL CALMER AS A HIGH-ACHIEVING PROFESSIONAL: https://calmlycoping.com/workshop   Want more?   WORK WITH ME: My mission is to help you decrease your anxiety, declutter your mind, and say hello to a life of calm and balance.  Learn more about my coaching, therapy, and course offerings here: https://becalmwithtati.com/work-with-me   TAKE THE FREE HIGH-FUNCTIONING ANXIETY QUIZ: http://hfaquiz.com   JOIN THE CALMLY COPING GROUP: The free supportive community for high-achievers with high-functioning anxiety. Om Podcasten

Calmly Coping is an actionable self-improvement podcast for overthinkers with high-functioning anxiety. I'm your host, Tati Garcia, and I'm a licensed counselor specializing in anxiety treatment & a coach specializing in high-functioning anxiety. Do you appear calm and collected on the outside, but on the inside you are struggling, doubting, and overthinking? Calmly Coping is not about fixing you, it's about uncovering the amazing person that is already there (and that you are just too afraid to let out). If you are struggling with feeling stuck in life, overthinking and over-analyzing things, putting way too much pressure on yourself, difficulty relaxing, trouble staying focused, and struggling with self-doubt, then this podcast is for you. I release new bite-size and evidence-based episodes once weekly with my top tips and techniques for coping with and decreasing anxiety while helping you feel more confident, have improved relationships and communication skills, and have better focus and performance.
