This episode was recorded at the so called 'Palm House' in sunny LA with artist and brand managers Jazz Spinder and Attilio Pugliese from Forward Motion Artists. Between them, they manage some of the most talented artists in dance music, such as Jamie Jones, Lee Foss, Art Department, Nathan Barato, Detlef, Carlo Lio, Lee Burridge, Latmun and Bedouin and also manage some of their artists’s brands such as Paradise, Hot Creations, Repopulate Mars, All Day I dream, Saga and Rawthentic. I sat down and had a chat with them about their biggest challenges as managers and what they’ve learned along the way, what an artist should look for in a manger and viceversa and building up brands.
