In memory of Boris, my beloved best friend, 2011 - 2022 Sgt. Gander was a Newfoundland dog beloved by the members of his regiment. During the Battle of Hong Kong, this "Black Devil" as the Japanese called him, saved the lives of several of his comrades and earned his place in history.
