EP010 - Anita Tessensohn Sanford

Anita Tessensohn Sanford is a true trailblazer in women’sskateboarding, from her gnarly street skating in the 80s when girl street skaters were a rarity to her appearance in Powell’s 1987 Some Girls Play With Dolls, Real Women Skate ad. The skate world is getting reintroduced to Anita today, thanks to her appearance on the Bones Brigade Audio Show nearly two years ago. Anita has found a rekindled love of skating as a mature adult and was inducted into the Skateboarding Hall of Fame in 2023. Anita now continuesher skate journey and shares her love of skating with the next generation of skaters in her hometown of Eugene, Oregon.
