Casenotes Past & Present is a Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh podcast. In this episode we explore the history of respiratory medicine. We also uncover the work of Sir John Crofton in tackling this deadly disease. Then we talk to Dr Wendy Anderson – a specialist currently working in the field of respiratory medicine. And we end with a case study exploring the history of asthma, and particularly one of its most famous sufferers, Charles Dickens.
