CBI Insights: Scottish Lobbying Act

The Scottish Lobbying Act comes into force on 12 March 2018 and will require any person or organisation that engages in ‘regulated lobbying’ with Scottish Ministers, MSPs, Scottish Government Special Advisers or the Scottish Government Permanent Secretary to record their engagement in an online register maintained by the Scottish Parliament. In this podcast CBI Campaigns Adviser, Hannah Collins is joined by Dougie Wands, the Lobbying Registrar, Andrew Henderson the Director of Public Policy at Pinsent Masons and Chris Kelly the CBI’s Governance Manager to analysis what the Act means for business.
