287 - A visit with Travis Feaster and "rules" for playing on stage

Brian welcomes back Travis Feaster for an all new episode of the Chasing Tone podcast.

Philipe Herndon put out four rules for any guitarist playing on stage. The guys discuss their feelings about the rules and even add a couple of their own.

And Wampler Tone Page regular Niq Scott posted a question about “Pedal Platform” Amps. This leads to a discussion about finding your clean tone on an amp that works best for you. The differences of opinions are very interesting.

Compression. Do you use it? Travis doesn’t use it while Brian uses multiple compressors. Is it a difference in taste or is it driven by styles? The guys sort through it.

The Wampler diet plan, Christmas cookies, and Travis’s thoughts on the Terraform. All in this week’s Chasing Tone Podcast.
