Ep 94 Creating Community by Holding Space with Sasha Cuff

Sasha Cuff is a Relational Somatic Practitioner who has spent the last 25 years studying trauma and trauma resolution of all types, along with exploring a multitude of healing modalities and cultural perspectives on wellness. Sasha is deeply committed to his own shadow work and helping others in an embodied way. We sit down with Sasha to discuss his work in somatic therapy and the fact that what we are experiencing psychologically is often a symptom of our biology. We talk about the physiological impact of our relational wounds, the extent to which developmental/childhood trauma can block access to relational healing, the role psychedelic therapy can play in deep integrative repair, and the importance of creating specific containers and after care protocols that hold space for processing as we navigate healing trauma with psychedelics. We were so inspired by this conversation with Sasha and we know you will be too!You can connect with Sasha through his classes on Nectara by visiting nectara.co; be sure to checkout his masterclass on the physiology of trauma.Interested in joining a live virtual group class with us? Om Podcasten

Vanessa Bennett and Dené Logan are two soul sisters and therapists who connected over their shared love of depth psychology—known as the psychology of the soul. It is a template for diving beneath the surface to examine the complex natures of being human while on the quest for wholeness, including the relationship to spirit.Through their training and lived experiences with depth, yogic psychology, and mindfulness, they developed a passion for supporting others in living their most authentic lives while cultivating a fulfilling and rich relationship with the Self, capital “S.”Every Wednesday, Vanessa and Dené look to demystify, de-stigmatize, and desensitize what goes on both inside the therapy room and in daily life, through soul-provoking conversations with fellow seekers, thought leaders, changemakers, and real people during live coaching sessions as they navigate the hard work it takes to be a human. This podcast is, for sure, Cheaper Than Therapy. Follow Cheaper Than Therapy on Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Follow VanessaInstagramTikTokYouTube Follow Dené InstagramTikTok------------------------------ Hosted on Acast.
