Constraints on Watercare infrastructure could push up prices

Constraints on Auckland's water infrastructure could push up prices in the city's central suburbs. That is the warning from one economist as demand is increasing for land that is not affected by limitations to Auckland's water network. Last year, Watercare released a map revealing many areas of Auckland with water or wastewater restrictions, meaning new builds in those areas may not be able to connect to the water network until necessary upgrades are complete.
