Petition launched to stop build of Wanaka's only McDonald's
5,500 people have signed a petition calling for Queenstown Lakes District Council to stop the fast-food giant going up just off the State Highway 6 and State Highway 84 roundabout, although the council said it won't be swayed by the petition.
