Prisoner voting ban to be reinstated by government

All sentenced prisoners will once again be stripped of their right to vote - with the government confirming plans to reinstate a blanket ban. It's a move welcomed by the Sensible Sentencing Trust - but is at odds with a spate of recent rulings from the likes of the Supreme Court and the Independent Electoral Commission.
