Myth #2 - It's not the Right Time

For years I waited for the right time to quit drinking. A time where I didn’t have a social engagement, a trip,a happy hour, a Tuesday. Oddly enough that time never came. Strange. There is never a good time to change your relationship with alcohol and it's ALWAYS a good time. If you wait for the right time, you'll never start. And this goes for most changes we want to make in life. It's the excuse that keeps on giving and is one we as humans really like to lean into. When the circumstances are XYZ then I will XYZ. In today’s episode of Sober·ish Uprising I share how not the right time held me back from making a change and how I bought into that myth until I knew I had to create the right time. #soberish #sobercurious #soberlife #intentionalliving #confidence #womenempowerment #grayareadrinking #soberishuprising --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/soberishuprising/message

Welcome to Sober·ish Uprising, a space where we share all versions of sobriety. We believe labeling sobriety as black and white is a limitation to those who know they want to do things differently and complete sobriety doesn’t work for them. On Sober·ish uprising we share sober·ish stories and the freedom that comes when we say no to booze. Hosted by Holly Krivokapich, a certified coach and former heavy drinker, who started a sober·ish journey in 2021 and her world has never been the same. www.soberishuprising.com
