Lisa Levytska is a 2nd-year international student at Homerton studying Modern and Medieval Languages (French & German). Growing up in Ukraine, Lisa was born into 2 native languages - Russian and Ukrainian, which inspired her to become proficient at a number of languages (currently fluent in Russian, Ukrainian, English, French and German) and pursuing languages at university. Outside of her university degree, Lisa is particularly interested in sports and financial markets. Having come from a professional dancing background (in Latin & Ballroom dance with 8 years of experience), she enjoys practicing Yoga and dancing in a range of different styles, such as Hip-Hop, Commercial and Heels. She spends 6 hours a week at the dance studio and likes to work out in the gym practicing fitness outside of the dance classes. Having an interest in economics and financial markets (after completing an Economics A-level), Lisa enjoys trading in her personal trading account (having self-taught financial markets and trading strategies) and working at Amplify Trading where she was offered a Regional Representative position after completing a summer training program at the company and obtaining a Level 6 Diploma in Applied Finance. She has also joined the Cambridge Student Investment Fund (CAMSIF) last term and has recently landed a Consumer Retail Sector Head role. Being a believer in diversification (in all areas of life), she ensures her versatility by working as a Team Lead at Wiser Academy where she heads a team of 11 Cambridge students and ensures outreach and representation on behalf of the world’s biggest brands (including Evercore, KPMG, Fidelity International, L’Oreal, PA Consulting, etc.) and holding a tutoring job at various international tutoring companies. Lisa is currently working on pursuing a role in financial services and is planning out her Year Abroad programme ahead of next year. In her free time, she enjoys reading, learning new skills and travelling whilst spending time with her family."Interviewing with David was such a lighthearted and self-reflective experience. Drawing inspiration from him, I hope to learn more from others through genuine discussions – giving listeners heartfelt conversations filled with authentic insights, and giving guests legacy-worthy interviews to treasure. But this personal project is fundamentally as much about what we can learn from the guests as it is to give them (current) legacy-worthy interviews. My top priority is for guests to enjoy a unique opportunity to challenge, learn about, and be themselves; hopefully, they will be able to keep recordings of in-depth, heartfelt conversations to reflect on in years’ time.
