Ep. 1: Trial update and Hope in Darkness episode 1

Susan Powell's parents have resumed their civil lawsuit trial against the state of Washington after a four-month delay caused by the Covid-19 pandemic. Cold host Dave Cawley offers a look at how Pierce County Superior Court has adapted to avoid the risk of spreading the coronavirus. The lawsuit centers around Josh Powell's February 5, 2012 killing of the sons he and Susan shared, Charlie and Braden Powell. Susan's parents, Chuck and Judy Cox, have sued Washington's child welfare agency, claiming negligence.
