Russell Quirk Sticks Up For Conveyancers

Stu and Lorraine are delighted to welcome Russell Quirk back to Conveyancing Matters! Russell is now known for his TV career but continues to be a controversial property commentator who has often had some pretty scathing things to say about conveyancers in the past However, in this Conveyancing  Matters chat, Russell talks about a subject close to his heart on which he is campaigning and lobbying heavily – that of the plight of the leaseholders trapped in an unsafe building at the Mill Apartments Ipswich Russell explains whey he was on TV recently filmed in Bury St Edmunds lobbying and how the leaseholders remain in a cladded building with problems that have been festering for 13 years Stu, Lorraine and Russell also talk about the troubles facing conveyancers created by the Building Safety Act and the ever increasing lender requirements  Russell even has positive things to say about conveyancers – as he said (and here is the headline)  – Quirk sticks up for conveyancers and suggests they should put up their fees!   Note: this was recorded before the recent Lender changes to part 1 clause 5.14.17 of the UK Finance Mortgage Lender’s Handbook
