Robert is best known for his role as pilot Ted Striker in Airplane! and its sequel, and for his role as Robert Seaver in Homeward Bound: The Incredible Journey. During his career that has spanned over forty years some he has appeared in countless TV shows and movies such as Laverne & Shirley, The Love Boat, Angie, Cat's Eye, Starman, FM, Cutters, Touched by an Angel, Dr. T & the Women, and Sharknado 2. He has also lent his voice to Spider-Man: The Animated Series, Superman: The Animated Series and Iron Man.
