She is is a multidisciplinary jewelry artist and designer whose jewelry work explores themes of Filipino cultural identity through the lens of Philippine folklore and mythology. Her brand Una Artesana, came about from a love of artisanal craft and a desire to connect to her ancient Filipino heritage. Each jewelry piece tells a story from Filipino mythology and folklore, and is intricately handmade by Susanne.
