CCP’s ‘New Order’ Works on Threats, Terror, Crime, and Deception

Long-range bombers were intercepted near Alaska this week by the United States and Canada. The bombers were from China and Russia, and this was the first time such an encounter had occurred in the Alaska Air Defense Identification Zone (ADIZ). This comes on the heels of additional military exercises and maneuvers that represent only thinly veiled threats against the United States and its allies. Yet while this happens, the CCP is playing another role—ostensibly trying to broker peace deals and hold security exercises. Behind the dual nature of China’s behavior is something else though, showing what some have framed as the gangster tactics of the Chinese Communist Party.
