S1 Ep19: Dads For Daughters and Sport - Kieran Donaghy + Andy Lee join the conversation

As part of the 20X20 initiative aimed at increasing participation, attendance and coverage of women's sport there's an entire discussion to be had around the role that Dads play in making sure girls get access early and often to a range of sports. We've got some champion Dads in today as special guests, in Kieran Donaghy and Andy Lee, both of whom have daughters. And three of the usual Dad's are here too - Nathan, Ger and Adrian are back with their usual bad advice. This was recorded ahead of time and supposed to drop on International Women's Day, but it was too good to hold on to.  (And also Nathan took last week off so we'd no show. Sue me.)  Support this podcast with a review [here](https://itunes.apple.com/ie/podcast/dadcast-misadventures-in-parenting/id1437650268?mt=2) The Dads regular chat including a whopper mailbag will be back next week - dadcast@offtheball.com

So we're still going 70-odd episodes in - feel free to start at the start or dip in and out. We love you either way. Parenting is tough. It's also hilarious, annoying, brilliant craic, dangerous and soul destroying in small, and sometimes big measures. This podcast is for all the Dads and Mums who know this all too well, or indeed for anyone thinking of becoming a parent, or anyone who knows a parent. Caked in snot and puke this is the unvarnished truth of being a Dad. Featuring the ramblings of Adrian Barry, Nathan Murphy, Dave McIntyre and Ger Gilroy, the Dadcast will examine the worst excesses of sleep deprivation, unruly toddlers, inopportune poohs and escaping from the trap of middle age spread. Publishing weekly every Tuesday, or whenever the kids’ chicken pox allows, the Dadcast welcomes your feedback however tangential or nappy-brained. dadcast@offtheball.com for your comments, advice and sleeping tablets, or tweet the Dads @dadcastpod
