INCLUSIVE GYMS

I got to talk to my friend Jessica Sunier of FitPower Gym, about what it takes to be an inclusive space for training. Hint:  It's not a checklist, and it's not being too "woke" to be able to have real conversations with people. Jessica has been an athlete her whole life and holds a Masters in Exercise Physiology. She is a powerlifter and a brown belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. We talk about how long it took her to carve out a great gym, how she maintains a space for everybody and what it takes to learn and evolve as the roster grows to include diverse genders, religions, and adaptive clients. Its a timely and necessary talk about the future of not just gyms, but health itself, and how we can possibly "come together" after this wild year that split us all open.
