Episode 43: Örjan Andersson – Tradition and Ritual

Internationally acclaimed Swedish choreographer Örjan Andersson sits down with host Tiemen Stemerding on the day before the premiere of the re-staging of Mozart’s Requiem. A collaboration between Skånes Dansteater, Malmö Opera Chorus and Malmö Opera Orchestra performing with over 50 people on Malmö Opera’s big stage. The work originally premiered in 2019, with Tiemen as one of the dancers.They uncover Örjan’s creative processes and talk about the strong relationship between music and dance.
