On a national scale most of us have an understanding of the candidates that are running for office and even who we favor, but when the time has come to vote, many of us realize that there are many candidates for state positions we know nothing about.  One DS30 alumni decided to change that. In this episode of DS30, our host, data science instructor Ana Hocevar is joined by Matt Sternke, TDI alumni and data scientist, to discuss his groundbreaking Capstone project and how it could assist citizens in better understanding local politics and make more informed decisions when voting.
